In order to apply for a Branch loan, make sure you heve downloaded the Branch App. Open the Branch Mobile app and follow these steps. If you don’t have the Branch App yet, see how you can download it by clicking here.
This a step by step guide on how to apply for a loan using the Branch app in 2019. Before you proceed, please make sure you have downloaded the app in your smartphone.
Please note that you do not need a branch application form to be filled in order to apply and qualify for a loan from Branch. Also, to have a smooth application process, make sure your phone has enough charge and data bundles.
Step by step on how to apply for a loan on Branch android Mobile App with images and directions:
Step 1: Open the Branch App
Step 2: Select your ‘preferred language’.
Step 3: Select ‘sign in’ if you have a branch account or ‘register a NEW ACCOUNT’ if you are new to branch.
Step 4: Choose your country.
Step 5: Select ‘sign in with Phone Number’ or ‘Sign In with Facebook’
Step 6: Once you have selected ‘sign in with phone number’ put in your phone number and press ‘sign in’
Step 7: Now, wait for Branch to send you a validation code.
Step 8: Once you receive the validation code, it will automatically key in to your Branch app.
Step 9: Wait for Branch to validate the validation code.

Step 10: Press ‘Request This Loan’
Step 11: Select how you will make payments either ‘4 weekly payments’ or ‘1 monthly payment’
Step 12: Once you’ve selected time of payment, press ‘Request This Loan’
Step 13: Next, ‘confirm deposit account’ this is where you will receive your loan. Make sure it’s Safaricom number linked to an m-pesa account.
Step 14: Press ‘Apply’ and wait for loan to be processed.
Step 15: Loan will be processed and a confirmation message sent to your phone.
Step 16: Confirm when payment is due.
