Steps to Repay zenka loan using zenka paybill number:

  • Open the mpesa menu.
  • Select lipa na mpesa
  • Choose pay bill option
  • Select Enter business number and input Zenka paybill number 979988
  • Next, input your zenka account number. This is your safaricom telephone number
  • Input amount to pay and Press O.K.
  • Next, put in your m-pesa PIN to finish transaction.
  • Await for a confirmation SMS from Zenka.

Zenka loan repayment period:

The zenka loan repayment period is 61 days. In addition to this, payments are made in two installments after every 30 days i.e. each month.

  • On the main app screen select ‘NEED MORE TIME TO REPAY‘ option
  • You will get options to extend your loan by either 7, 14 or 30 days. Each with a fee.

As a zenka user, please note that the fee for for the loan extension is charged directly from your m-pesa accont and not your zenka account. As a rule, make sure you have the needed amount to cover the zenka loan extension cost already deposited in your m-pesa.
