- Open the mpesa menu.
- Select lipa na mpesa
- Choose pay bill option

- Next, input your zenka account number. This is your Safaricom telephone number
- Input amount to pay and Press O.K.
- Next, put in your m-pesa PIN to finish the transaction.
- Await for a confirmation SMS from Zenka.
Zenka loan repayment period
The zenka loan repayment period is 61 days. In addition to this, payments are made in two instalments after every 30 days i.e. each month.

Here are the steps on how to apply for a loan extension on zenka:
- Open the Zenka loan app (make sure you are connected to the internet)
- Press sign in.
- Confirm your account and press next (Safaricom telephone number)
- Input your 4-digit PIN and press SIGN IN
- On the main app, screen select ‘NEED MORE TIME TO REPAY‘ option
- You will get options to extend your loan by either 7, 14, or 30 days. Each with a fee.
As a zenka user, please note that the fee for the loan extension is charged directly from your m-pesa account and not your zenka account. So, for your loan extension to be processed, make sure you have enough money to cover the zenka loan extension cost already deposited in your m-pesa.
