How to apply for a Tala loan a step by step guide with pictures

This is a step-by-step guide on how to apply for a loan using the Tala app in 2022. Before you proceed, please make sure you have downloaded the app on your smartphone.

Please note that you need a tala online application form to be filled in the app to complete and qualify for a loan. Also, to have a smooth application process, make sure your phone has enough charge and data bundles as you proceed on how to apply for Tala loan.

Steps on how to apply for a loan on Tala Mobile App

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Open the Tala app after downloading and installing tala.

Step 2: Select your language ‘English’ or ‘Swahili’ and press next.

Step 3: Select “I’M NEW – CREATE ACCOUNT” if you are new to Tala.

 

Step 4: Select “SIGN IN” if you have a Tala account.

Step 5: Sign in to Tala and Apply for a loan

Step 6: Enter your M-Pesa number ‘+254 722 777***’ and press next.

Step 7: Enter ‘PIN’ then press next.

Step 8: Link your phone to the tala account by selecting “Yes, this is my new primary phone” and press next.

 

How to Apply for A Tala loan

Step 1: Tala App will open the main page of the app after you complete the sign-in.

Step 2: Select ‘APPLY NOW‘.

Step 3: Tala will ask you a couple of questions. Check the full guide on how to answer tala questions.

Step 4: Review your answers and then press continue.

Step 5: Now, the Tala app will show you how much money you qualify for.

Step 6: Choose the loan amount you want to apply for. Between 1,000 – 30,000 Shillings.

Step 7: Select ‘CHOOSE PAYMENT SCHEDULE’.

Step 8: Choose Payment Schedule between ’30 Day’ or ’21 Day’

Step 9: Press ‘SEND MY LOAN’.

Step 10: Agree to the Terms and conditions and press confirm.

Step 11: Wait for tala to send the loan.

Step 12: Receive a loan from Tala straight to your M-Pesa account.
