E-Bill is a service by Kenya Power and Lighting company. It allows you to check your KPLC electricity bill using your phone. By sending an SMS with your account number you can receive your electricity bill in no time.

Here is How KPLC E-Bill works:

• Open a new SMS message.
• Type the first part of your account number in the message field. If your account number is 998877-01, just type 998877.
• Send message to 95551.
• You will receive an automatic reply with your KPLC account balance details.

The E-bill service by KPLC works for Kenyan mobile networks. This means it works with Safaricom, Airtel and Telkom. It is charged at Kshs. 5/- above the normal SMS rates.
